In 2013, the company was rebranded from Holmegård Kød ApS to Danish Pork Meat ApS.

In 2003, Holmegård Kød ApS was acquired by Glumsø Slagtehus ApS. In 2013, Holmegård Kød was renamed Danish Pork Meat ApS. Today, the company operates with state-of-the-art facilities in Slagelse and stands as one of the most modern cutting businesses, meeting all hygiene and health requirements. The company’s health mark is DK 856 EC, and in this regard, Danish Pork Meat has an internal control system that is continuously adjusted and approved by veterinary authorities.
Danish Pork Meat’s clear goal is to deliver first-class meat products of Danish origin to both Danish and international consumers. This goal has been fully achieved, and products from Danish Pork Meat are widely known in stores across Zealand and among wholesalers both domestically and abroad.
Henrik Andreasen, owner and CEO, explains; “The strength of Danish Pork Meat lies in the company’s constant adaptation to customer desires and needs, as well as the ability to deliver from day to day. If we don’t have the product the customer asks for, we will source it. The key phrase for Danish Pork Meat is and will remain – quality on time, period!"

With the ever-increasing demands for food safety and consumer demands for new and exciting products, we only collaborate with leading suppliers in these areas. These initiatives have been a decisive plus in our product and production expansion and have helped maintain quality with a solid increase in export share, which today constitutes approximately 70% of our total production. To meet the demands in this context, we have developed an individual deboning and trimming line, along with a highly advanced computer-controlled packaging system, in collaboration with ATTEC. We have placed great emphasis on high food safety, flexibility in production, and ensuring that all workstations are correctly ergonomically designed.

GLUMSØ SLAGTEHUS APS
HIGH QUALITY AND CUSTOMER-ORIENTED ARE STILL A COMMON DENOMINATOR
For the two companies, Glumsø Slagtehus ApS and Danish Pork Meat ApS, quality is a common denominator, and through joint ownership by Henrik Andreasen, the two companies complement each other in the best possible way.
It is organized so that Glumsø Slagtehus focuses solely on the slaughtering of pigs, while Danish Pork Meat is a traditional cutting company. A significant portion of the slaughtered pigs from Glumsø Slagtehus is further processed by Danish Pork Meat.
We also place great emphasis on short delivery times. Our goal is to be able to deliver pork meat orders from day to day. Both companies have their own trucks, which are approved for the transport of chilled and frozen goods, and which operate in Zealand and the rest of the country. The company only uses approved hauliers, explains Henrik Andreasen, who is the fifth generation at Glumsø Slagtehus.
